Last year, the Shark Race was a huge success. Still wanting to utilize the water park and increase club involvement, we’re asking your club to build and donate a boat. The boats will be auctioned off, similar to years past, and there will be wagering during the race. Here are basic rules for your club to follow.
- Please let your imagination run wild.
- Boats should be no larger then 12″ wide and 24″ long.
- No motors allowed.
- Any decorations must be secured well as to not fall off and cause any damage to the pool.
- You will be asked to provide a short presentation about your boat during Friday night’s auction – think skit, story or song. Please limit to 90 seconds.
- Costumes are encouraged.
- We are limiting the boats to 12, so please register as soon as Sign-Ups are announced to reserve your spot.
- The club’s boat that raises the most money at auction- 1 point
- Boat race winner- 3 points awarded to the club that built the boat, 2 points to second place, 1 point to third

Players dressed in pirate gear will pop balloons, between each other, not using hands- 1st place 3 points, second place 2, third place 1 point
